Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Among other stressors of wedding planning, there is also the desire to look fabulous on your big day. You should feel your most beautiful on your wedding day so we thought we would help and give you beauties a list of no-bloat foods.
These are to help you in the days before your wedding; this is not a diet plan by any means. They simply flush out extra water from your body to help you avoid bloating. If any of you ladies are planning on wearing a figure hugging dress, these foods will ensure that you feel confident in your gown.
About 1-3 days before your wedding you’ll want to cut out any salty foods and make sure to drink TONS of water. Here’s a sample menu to help you get an idea of what a no-bloat day looks like:
- Yogurt and Oatmeal with raspberries
- Kale Salad with almond, avocado and balsamic vinegar
- Salmon (cooked with garlic), quinoa and steamed Kale
- Watermelon! Snack on watermelon, as much as you can, it is 92% water and will help with your hydration, and therefore help you keep the bloat away. Plus there is no better summer treat!
Now, portion sizes and frequency of meals is totally up to you, we’re not trying to deprive ourselves here! Feel free to mix the ingredients into different meals and eat as much as you need to. These foods are simply intended to flush out toxins and keep you from retaining water. And remember, weddings can be extremely stressful so don’t feel like you can’t ask for help.
