Our favourite wedding ceremonies are held on the Lakeview Terrace, down near the lake with epic views of the glacier. This view is stunning, the perfect backdrop for saying I Do. A Chateau Lake Louise wedding down by the lake does come with tourist challenges, as every tourist that visits Lake Louise also wants a front row seat to this picture perfect backdrop. Our Mountain Bride team has gotten really great at keeping the tourist back from your ceremony to keep it as private as possible. And you can see from the photos that we do a great job of keeping them out of your wedding photos.
Another gorgeous ceremony location at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is the Victoria Terrace. This is located above the lake, just off of your Victoria Ballroom reception room. Victoria Terrace is the perfect setting for a private outdoor wedding ceremony. The privacy is a really important feature and the convenience of ceremony, flowing right into cocktails and dinner all within the same area.
The gorgeous Chateau Lake Louise Victoria Ballroom has been the wedding reception venue of choice, given its undeniable elegance and refined atmosphere. Most of our couples choose to have their reception on this grand, luxurious space. This space is spectacular whether you decide to go glam and luxurious with the design and decor, or keep it more elegant and understated. To be fair, saying understated and Chateau Lake Louise in the same sentence seems sacrilegious!!
Lets keep the party going into the night with an after party at The Alpine Social or host a private after event in the Mount Temple Ballroom. The Alpine Social is the social hub of Chateau Lake Louise. Inspired by the glory days of Canadian mountaineering, Alpine Social is the place to meet, eat and celebrate. The Mount Temple is a fairly traditional conference ballroom. There is so much we can do to transform the Mount Temple Ballroom into the most spectacular after party your guests have ever experienced.
